GS dropping after a transfer is part of the day-trader prevention package. As a package it needs to be strengthened, not weakened.

I think penalties and taxes are more effective for preventing day-trading (although I now find myself firing every player who I doubt will fetch at least 10k in the TL because of it). The drop in GS is there to penalise people buying right before the playoffs rather than day-trading .

that seems unnecessarily complicated, the current format is already overwhelming for most newbies....

solid idea though, i must give you that, I can see how it would work, but it's quite complicated to put across to someone who knows nothing about the game. Or myself, who knew almost nothing about basketball (i'd only just started watching it - and was told about this by tough/SHAQ) before I joined this game lol. I would've been entirely lost.

Now that i do have a good grasp, I can see how it works, this is also a large bit of coding if i'd think about my little knowledge on programming to adjust. So while it's a good idea, it's not a plausible idea.
