In this game (85149671) I set Adorno as starter and Zabost as backup at SG and selected CPfDC.

Zabost started the game despite the setting, that is already a problem although a known one.

In garbage time Zabost (which started the game) played all the 12 minutes and Adorno who didn't start did not enter at all.

Now, if there is a bug (Zabost starting) I would expect it at least to be consistent. Zabost has been treated both like a starter and a backup in that game.

As it happened Zabost played 44 minutes and got too many minutes for the week, so it would be nice if what happened was clarified.

Thank you.

yeah except the guy whom the coach decided should be the starter (in spite of the depth chart I set) also played every minute in garbage time, while the guy who was chosen by the coach as the backup did not play a single minute. I dressed 8 players, eight. 2 backups went in for garbage time and one did not. This is the first time I see a backup not being subbed in for garbage time.

What I'm saying is:
1) say p1 is the depth chart starter and p2 is the backup. The game, on its own and not using LCD, subverts the depth chart selected by the manager and starts p2 over p1. This is already a bug probably, but we're used to it
2) you get to garbage time. Now you'd expect p1 to go in since he came off the bench. Instead all the bench goes in except p1. So now p1 is looked at as a starter and p2 as the backup???

It happens clearly here: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/85149671/reportmatch.as.... Garbage time >>> the guy who started the game (who was then on the bench) goes back in.

I sincerely think this is not how it's intended to work and it's therefore a bug.

The CPfDC substitution strategy is flawed, which is a known issue, therefore I would recommend using SFDC in all matches in which control over player minutes is required. The 2) issue is a direct result of the 1) issue, so fixing 1) will probably fix 2). I'll see what I can do to fix 1).
