As a middle of the pack team, the draft is important to me. I've got one obvious prospect who I think I have no chance at getting and one deep sleeper. Anyone have any sleepers of their own? I put a lot of money into scouting and tried out most of the new scouting methods and found some incredible results.

I personally didnt scout since i have the last pick, plus since i plan to be in d3 next year, i'll be closer to the bottom, and should have a good pick, so im saving up.

this draft class should be loaded though, since the previous season was a bit poor compare to recent drafts

Think it works like that? I didn't know they did that, I thought it was just totally random.

It probably is, but considering how bad it was last season... there WERE good players, but there wasn't a high quantity of them.

Maybe it isn't random, don't know for sure.

we usually have at least 3 top quality (mvp + hof ~~~ All time great is rare). And about 5-6 perrenials + superstar, and 4-6 allstars which is what i'd consider a good draft. Also, it's better when these top quality guys are 18, nothing wrong with a 19 year old draftee, but you'd basically be losing 1 season of training.

i'm rumbling, let's just agree we have no idea :D

good luck with your draft

I know I scouted 5 or 6 5 ball players, though only one of them had 4-5 ball potential. That being said, I'm holding out hope to at least landing one of them even with the close to end draft position.

I made a whole spreadsheet and created a rating system to rank them all since I have 6 of their stats revealed. I interviewed only one guy...and he was my sleeper pick, and he has five balls for potential. I think I can get him with my pick, so I'm really hoping it works out.

I'll tell you this though, there is one kid with Strong Inside and Strong Outside defense on the board, so I will also target him as well.

19 year old? eh

unless all his skills are respectable and strong i wouldnt go for it.

i mean, an 18 year old with respectable/respectable in od/id could easily pass strong in 1 season of training. And they train faster the younger they are.

BUT that guy could be a good 2nd trainee, i wouldnt make him my main one though. So maybe you should go for him. I had a solid bench C like that, Pickett i think it was, solid him for about 100k after a season asmy 3rd trainee, so he didnt even get much attention

That's why he's a sleeper. He's already a good enough player to get into the rotation. Could be a Draymond Green type.

got 3 SF height players, a 6'7 perrenial all star, 6'5 all star and a 6'7 starter

the PAS is a bit on the low end though i do want to train a SF, and the Allstar has good skills... but he's allstar, and i want to train a high salary player.

gonna see if i can get some cash for them.

Draft was out early, so hopefully leagues are done by tonight !!!

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: average Handling: strong
Driving: respectable Passing: average
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: atrocious

I had that guy ranked as my #28 player in our draft...I ended up getting 3 19 year olds, my #2, #10 and my 7'2" sleeper pick (ranked 33 on my board but with strong ID and SB) surprised me with an MVP potential, so he will be my main focus from now on.

I'm curious who got my #1, a 19 year old with respectable JS and strong OD, DR, ID and SB at 196cm.
