Of course, this is my own mistake but I bought a player after the last day of the season and before selling another high salary individual. As a result my salary is temporarily over the limit. Given that I will promote, this should not be a problem next season. My suggestion is that the overextension tax be waived on the last update of the season as well as the first update of the next season to allow teams some flexibility as they promote or demote.

How can you promote if you're already in the highest league in your country and you didn't make it to the finals and win?

I agree with your suggestion just curious on your reasoning of why you got the OET.

Utopia team. I won the finals and will go to Div. III. I was careless and bought a player before the other guy sold.

Ahhhh okay my mistake. But I agree with your post on taking out the OET on the last update of the season.

I don't like this idea, as it would be exploited for sure by all managers. Buy guys and just sell them after they play some games to start the season...
Other possible idea that I have and would make this work would be to give us a week with no games on preseason, and maybe 2 scrimmages. There you could have only a week without overtaxes after the preseason to allow some flexibility ;)

You would still have to pay one week's salaries so you can't overcommit too much and, already, you don't pay OET in the first update of the season. I'm only saying that the overextension tax should be extended back one week. Instead of only the first update of the season, it could be the last of the previous season and the first update of the new season

As long as teams in the finals don't get any tax breaks this is fine. Great idea.
