Coach, you look like the favorite in the Big 8 this year. I think Lebron's guard acquisition will put them over the top in the Great 8, but certainly Marsupials will challenge. JYD and my guys are at least a year away, unless I can find a player to get me into the mix.

I can not lie, it does look good on paper for me. I am still training hard some young talent that's why it would of been Devil Dogs season to me. Yourself and JYD are definitely on the rise to challenge Flying & Cavs. The Big 8 is going to be fun to watch this season.

Just saw that SkyzDaLimit was moved out of our league, and then saw that Trotter set the league scoring record in his second game this season with 78. I was not disappointed to see Irizarry and Trotter disappear from the leaderboards.

Looks like JYD is for real with Fayet. Lebron keeps getting everyone's best game, and their first game with a new offensive strategy. I still maintain Lebron is the favorite, but this may change the level of effort given at the end of the season.

FWIW, this is the weakest this league has been in all my years of playing here. The Big 8 is 7 average at best teams and the Great 8 is very top-heavy.

I guess I have been plenty busy with school starting soon. Trotter is heating it up especially if he has 3.5 guys guarding or o'laying him to the basket. I don't give the leader boards too much weight especially good players on a bad team. Somebody has to make the points and good teams usually get their best guys subbed out midway through the 3rd quarter.

Lebron should of gone all the way last year imo. We are water-down this season with teams training and losing several good teams over the past seasons. Maybe next season we will get a few more DIII teams in and I am hoping some teams talent will improve to be competitive.

Im going to disagree. I think the right team won last season and both the Flying Marsupials and the NutHuggers would have beaten them -Let Alone, Chewbacca beat Lebron fair and square. LebronsCavs are a solid team and will contend every season but they don't have a very solid bench and they are 1 star short of an awesome starting lineup.

So, in case anyone was buying the horsesh** from bsopchak that my team is the best team, please let me draw your attention to her most recent acquisition: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/16949291/overview.aspx

Bsopchak is also training Game Shape. He's competing for the title THIS year. Make no mistake.

Hey, that acquisition was made well after the season predictions. We'll see if Olgerts makes a difference, but I'm focusing on the cup right now. I will admit that after looking at the league for my post about the predictions, it looked at least a little wide open. The top teams are pretty much already guaranteed the playoffs, and all you guys have big time inside players. It only makes sense.

I'm definitely not training game shape, though. I'm working those inside trainees so that I can afford to buy players like Olgerts when the opportunity is there.

I was referring to the first post, but I'll stand by the followup. One of the teams in our division has a player they paid $1.5M for. I maintain that team is the favorite.

PS- From the first post: "my guys are at least a year away, unless I can find a player to get me into the mix." I'll admit to being in the mix, but that's as far as I'm going.
