Instead of having this useless player position we have now, why not use the formulas that you give us . That would be more accurate wouldn't it ?

Point Guard
(1) Handling, Passing
(2) Outside Defense, Driving
(3) Jump Shot, Jump Range, Inside Shot

Shooting Guard
(1) Jump Shot, Jump Range
(2) Handling, Passing,
(3) Driving, Outside Defense, Inside Shot

Small Forward
(1) Jump Shot, Jump Range, Outside Defense
(2) Handling, Passing, Driving
(3) Inside Shot, Inside Defense
(4) Rebounding

Power Forward
(1) Inside Shot, Inside Defense
(2) Rebounds, Shot Block
(3) Driving, Passing
(4) Jump Shot, Handling

Center
(1) Inside Shot, Inside Defense, Rebounds
(2) Shot Block
(3) Handling, Passing

Are player positions used in salary calculations or is it just by skills levels?

If they are not precise formulas Use the ones that you use for the game. Clive

Each position needs a certain abilities

when these abilities are up the salary go up as well

For me these formulas are correct:

Point Guard
1- Handling, Passing, Outside Defense, Jump Shot
2- Driving, Jump Range
3- Rebounding, Inside Shot

i mostly agree.
but i think that driving skill i needed for pf and centers too.
if you look at player statistics player with beter driving has better % of fg.

Why? It's not that important, but Center with better Handling will have less turnovers...

And Shot Blocking for guards is extremely helpful, at least from my experience...
