Just wanted to give everyone an update live from the S32 Americas tournament in Chile. Despite the local animosity towards our squad (
(http://shamenun.com/)) and the fact that the fans have been mislead to believe that their tickets were for Copa America, we are charging into the second round of the competition very strongly.
As expected we swept the first round going 6-0 with the highest PD of any group winner despite only sporting a roster of 7 players for most of the round. Yesterday, we started off the second round with a dominant performance against Venezuela
(34769). We still have some tough matchups against Brazil and Canada ahead, but we are still in great position right now to get to the semifinals and get an automatic bid to Worlds. We are probably looking at possible matchup with Chile with HCA or Argentina in the semifinals.
Roster wise we are in pretty good shape right now. I don't really want to go into detail about tactics and skills but I think we are in pretty good shape heading into Worlds next season. There is a good chance 3 of our 20 year old studs getting trained for Worlds next season, get roster time in Americas!
