I have a similar issue with an older player, 38yo last season, had several drops in high salary skills and didn't change in age or salary yet. (15148810) Wasn't sure if things were still processing but that last update made it sound as if player updates should've been completed.

15% drop in salary on a 29 years old player?

Possibly a change in the salary formula, we do not know about yet?

This seems to be the common element for these players - they appear to be original players from a team creation rather than having been drafted.
I have four myself as well: (12672597) on my main team and (33425909), (33409858), & (33409852) on my utopia team.
