I have noticed a great drop off in merchandising income in my league and with my team. The leage average fell from 90k to 75k compared to last week. Some of it might be related to NT players being shuffled by the new team managers? At the same time my income dropped 25k, despite winning the season opener and having a great pr manager. My only NT player didn't even play the last two NT games, so that factor should be out of the equation.
What I did was fire a 37 yo with less than 2k salary, whom I drafted ages ago. But it would surprise me if his 2k salary would have such an effect on the merchandising.
I just wanted to check whether the drop off is correct or there is something else behind this.

It's normal. Some of the factors that affect merchandising are reset after the offseason, so they build up towards the end of the season. During the season, these factors slowly rise, so merchandising will too.

-30% compared to the end of last season AND the first week of last season whereas I made a good season and salaries from my country are better than last season, not sure it's normal.

The last week of past season (DII) :
- player salaries : 467 k$
- Merchandise profit : 70k$

This week : first of this new season (DI)
- player salaries : 499 k$ (one foreign player changed)
- Merchandise profit : 75 k$

I'm expected a better increase ...

-35% compared to last week
-30% compared to the minimum of last season.
Last time I had merchandising that low was before the correction.

Indeed, it's way too big to be normal. It seems that the bug linked to merchandising has come back.

Sharing my data: I saw a 31% drop this week, while in the past I normally have seen gains or perhaps a single digit % decline.
