First I would like to greet all managers from Belgium, in the BBBL there has been a recent discussion about lack of communication in the Belgium leagues. So we would like to change this but currently we don't know how to do this.

In this thread I would like to collect all informations about why there is no talk in the forums and mainly if managers from lower divisions would like to see more help forums on the Belgium BB forum (and of course what you would like to know)

So please share this thread in your leagues, I hope until the end of the season we will have gathered enough informations to lead the Belgium BB nation to the right path and to start at the beginning of the new season with the desired help/communication forums.

I think if there is no talk, it will be hard to collect any informations...

I hope there will be a lot of reactions but it's already strange that I'm the first to reply with one day of delay!

My case, I'm not talking in my forum because there is nobody to talk to or in a language I cannot understand. It will be a difficult task to have a real community behind U21 & NT, good luck with that.

As said, we already discussed about it in the BBBL and there already were some possible solutions. BigT came up with the idea to create a new forum, were we would discuss the whole course of events from training Belgium prospects till possible national team players and were we could share each other our experiences in the game. This forum would be a general forum were we would all discuss together in 1 language: English.
However, I'm a proponent of creating not 1 universal forum but 2 forums. 1 for the Dutch speaking managers and 1 for the French speaking managers. In my opinion, the opportunity to communicate in your own language will resulte in a higher activity. Thus, the managers who are not familiar with the English language will also have the opportunity to discuss the game.
Maybe BigT could make a poll ??(cause I'm not a supporter) so that all the managers could vote for the best idea or maybe add another solution to raise the activity in the Belgium forums.

Although I understand your concern; it's always easier to communicate in our motherlanguage... but
I don't support your idea for different forums! We have one NT, one U21, one country... we should stand all together to support our team, and we should talk and take descissions concerning them together. If we want to reach results, we should all stick together. Imo this requires the courtesy to use a language that everyone understands. Our community is already very small; no need to tear it to smaller pieces.
and...I'm sure the errors we'll make in english will be forgiven.

However, when it comes to the communication between scout and manager, I can understand if you prefere to designate a frenchspeaking scout to a frenchspeaking manager and a flemish one to a flemish one... as communication and explanation in this case (igm) should be good understood and clear and this is easier in your own motherlanguage.

For your info; there is a flemish help forum, which is barely used.... look at the date of the last post there!

just wanted to give my point of view...

As usual, I fully agree with AnGi :)

On another note: discussion on the BBBL forum is good. It's also obvious since the percentage of very active managers will always be the highest in BBBL.
However, one of the concerns is to widen the audience, to get more people involved.
That is why I believe it's a good start (but not a solution), to discuss general topics in the general forum as much as possible.
