This must have been proposed/discussed many times but, anyway, here it goes again. My opponent just didn't show up and my minutes got screwed. I don't think this is correct. If you assign a player without backups or reserves and your roster has 9 or less players available for that game, the player without backups should get 48 minutes of training. The others should get 36 (starters) and 12 (reserves) if strictly follow depth chart and 28 (starters) 20 (reserves) if let the coach decide.

btw, it seems that teams dont get 48 minutes to avoid mutual walkover agreements, which makes sense... but i think a 50-100k fine for walkover would prevent those occurrences and also make managers much more aware of avoiding walkovers.

I think teams should just not be allowed to have less than three players in their lineup or on their roster. Walkovers are a pretty unnecessary part of the game.

yeah, maybe something like "to avoid walkovers, if a manager does not set up a lineup the 3 best and the 2 worst players of the team (based on their DMI at the moment of the game) will play".

or, again, let the team who showed up get their minutes and fine the walkover team.

Your poll should have been "should this be fixed or shouldn't it?" That would have given clear results.

But your players can't get injured in a walkover. So thats a clear advantage! Whats your suggestion on this part of the equation?

ok, so let's try something else: your opponent does not show up, you get 50-0 and your time is automatically scheduled to play an extra scrimmage against a bot team. the lineup to be used must be the same it was supposed to be used for the w.o. game.

They can be injured in WO match, since they also get minutes for training (even if not the full 48 min) and GS.

Not only that but since a walk over match consists of foul after foul, an injury is more likely in a walk over. Another reason why people who don't set lineups are right up there on the evil scale with murderers, politicians, people who cycle on the pavement and people who misuse apostrophes!

Since most of those fouls are commited by the team that set a lineup the injury risk isn't higher than during a normal game.
