Hi,
If we, as users, were to find places where we could advertise BB for free, or for very minimal cost (like $10 in a local paper), are there any official BB advertisement images we could use for those ads?
Or any specific verbiage that we should implement in these ads?

I guess this is both a suggestion and a question.

To clarify, the suggestion is: Provide a template so users can help spread the word on BB, or make it known where the template is if there is one already.

Thanks,
Iguanadon

I think this is a great idea. I also think if we were to have a seperate donation option where users could donate whatever money they would like but know that it was guaranteed to go towards advertising. Completely seperate from supporter, but just a joint fund where we can all donate a few bucks towards maybe getting a YouTube add or some Google Ads or something similar.

I know I'd donate a few bucks and I'm pretty broke. Any way we can get more users is good by me. (How we can go about keeping them is a seperate issue)

A shop where you can buy shirts, Cups, stickers and sweaters with the Buzzerbeater Logo would be nice too.

Well, this is one great idea. Setting up a separate user donated fund would certainly help with advertising. Technically, it's very easy to add a donate button somewhere.

As for advertising graphics, at this point we only have some banners and similar images, nothing high res as far as I could find, but we could get someone to do them for us. These existing banners are online here: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/images/bannerads/BuzzerBeater...), (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/images/bannerads/Skyscraper.g...) and (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/images/bannerads/bb468x60_en....). There are also some translated versions of the last one.

Also, I believe, once we set up links to specific already prepared products at a merch company that prints on cups, shirts, etc..., we probably could get a deal with them to send some of the profit into the advertising fund.

I like this idea a lot!

This is a great idea, I think there a small subset of users who would be happy to donate a few bucks a month that would go straight into an advertising pool. You should definitely do this and set an option for monthly recurring payments. I would be happy to sign up.

You should set up a gofundme or something similar to take on donations for Google Ads or something.

We are currently setting up a Paypal account for this. We'll consider gofundme and similar platforms.

What about creating a more premium version of supporter for 50 instead of 40 bucks? Extra 10 goes to the ad campaign. Give premium users would get cool forum flair or something nonconsequential.
