So, this idea was generated long long time ago and this was discussed in small forum themes. However I decided to create a special theme for it , as i think it is a major improvement and it should be discussed wisely.

So , the idea is to add a training camp where you could send X (debatable) amount of youngsters for Y (debatable) price for each one to improve him and add Z (debatable) number of skills. This camp should be generated during the off-season . Also i think that the number of skills that player can improve should be connected within his age. So the 18 y old player after his first season could add the max amount of the skill points (for example example 5) and later until age 25-26 he could add only 1 point. (Thats just and example). I agree that there is still much to improve and add to this idea, but this is just a basic , a foundation of an improvement that could be done.

Why we need this improvement?
First of all, the transfer market. This could let us (me , you and any other that train youngsters) decrease demand of good players and increase supply of them , so prices of current players will go down.

Second of all, look at the National Teams.. It doesn't look like National Teams, for me it is more like bunch of grandpas.. The best players are the oldest ones. Better training system should faster training of youngsters, so fully trained players could be leader of their teams at age of 25-27 years and not 31-33.. Look at Germany.. Dennis Schroeder is still only 22 , but he is already one of the main leader of NT and his own team in NBA.. Lithuania, what we have there? Jonas Valanciunas 24 years old center that is the main Offensive threat and Defensive anchor or NT. Look what he have been doing in the playoffs this year.. There is much more examples like Bojan Bogdanovic in Croatia (27y old) and Bogdan Bogdanovic in Serbia( 23y old ) .. And I'm not even talking about USA and players like Curry , Lillard , Durant and etc..
All these players are YOUNG and already leader of their NT and club teams ( or really important ones).

PROS: Cheaper players, more quality players in the transfer market, younger leaders , something new , funny and interesting for every player in BB.
CONS: I don't see big minuses of this idea. However , I'm not a programmer, and i didn't mentioned this part there , so maybe it could be difficult to code and create all this thing technically.

Cheers

An easier option would be to implement a training camp where all your players get training. just as much as in the normal training update. But you can select a special training regime for each of them.

This way you can

- train players that are not usually trained (so your whole teams get a little better over time)
- train a specific skill for each trainee once a season (so your 3 trainees can have slightly different specialities)
- speed up training over all (but just a little)

You can either have a training camp (all players get training) or don't have a training camp. The costs of the training camp depends on the average payroll of you players. (for example: you pay an additional weekly salary for this camp)

It still doesn't change the fact that a 25y old with maximum training is still worse than a 32y old with maximum training (and experience!) so no change in (most) NT:s anyway!

I assume we don't want players to drop in skills at 26.
I assume we still want to be able to train players even after they hit their cap.
But ofcourse, assumption is the mother of all fuckups...

IF you want your backup/reserves to get better over the years, why not implement that every player who gets minutes (outside training positions) also gets a small amount of training too?
Even a "off season boot camp", where you select type of training for your whole team would be a better idea. Equal of a teamtraining for one(or two?) week(s). A setting easily set/changed on the training-page (default stamina).

Well these 10-15 points you could add during 5-6 seasons would be crucial and definatlly would help to reach NT and leader or club team role.
And why do you think that skills should drop at 26 ? People that want more skill points - invest into it money and get better players faster than those who don't. This is not connected with the skill drop at all. Faster trained player - longer plays in his prime.

The idea you are talking about is also cool. It doesn't matter that much, the main idea we are both talking about is to improve training and make more strong players. Does the idea invole 3 youngsters or a full team is a debatable

I am agree on the core idea that players need to reach their prime much faster and need to remain on top of it longer.

Training needs to be much faster.

Paid training camps, where you can train things like free throw or stamina would help, because you no longer have to waste one week of training for it.

I like this.

I like the idea of training camp, but there would have to be a limit. Probably 1-2 per season honestly. And they should cost some cash. Maybe 2-4 for FT/stamina, 1-2 for skill.
