I'd remove or soften the age penalty for training. That way some salvaged "so-so" guys could become relevant again and the player pool availiable for training would increase tenfold. It's somewhat a shame that a (still young) 24yo needs so much more time to develop.
I'm strictly against the boost for lower leagues, this would only help the big nations to widen the gap even sooner.
Also I'd get rid of staff and replace it with fixed levels to spend on, like buying balls for scouting, you could spend 2k per week for lvl 1 staff, double for each level, (4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128) or even more if you want to keep training slow.
Give us amateur teams, like d-league affiliates so we get more training slots. I have a hard time to get my 21yo player quality minutes. And this guy is very advanced for players his age. Imo training should be finished around 23yo for up to superstar potential, it's a shame you have to waste away years to max out a guy.
