It was an afternoon of surprises... but not for Canada =)
A logical win against a clearly inferior Al Maghrib team, that played a very not logical CT (why waste enth if you're already out of contention for the only spot available to go to the worlds?).
Taiwan can also celebrate their almost guaranteed qualification against Spain, thanks to a higher enth (I don't think they would CT - which would be stupid, but that means Spain TIEd, which is also not logical when you battle for the top spot).
Anyway in this see of weird decisions, Canada played a strong game based on bold strategies (one thing's for sure, I won't use FCP against medium to good opponents ^^). Princeton on the other end was not that bad, I might bring it back later in the season.
On another note, we need 2 other players for the consolation tournament. We're OK when it comes to guards, and almost OK when it comes to bigs, but we need someone to supplement Aaron Madiar at the SF spot (probably 1 inside oriented player and 1 outside oriented).
I have a few names on my list, but all of them had only GS7 this week, so I decided to wait a bit. So if you have an NT worthy NT, focus on good minutes management and I might call your player next week ;)
