Hey! I drafted this guy and I am thinking about training him. I own a Point Guard which needs a full training for this season because he is U21 player. What I think about is to give my center ,which I just drafted, outside skills training together with my U21 player. For season 38 my PG will be most likely done with training because of his potential and then I would start with inside skills and all the outside skills would be almost good to go for the future.

My question is, do you think it will work to go with outside skills training during he is 18 years old and when he turns 19 to start inside. Will he get too much behind for the future like this? And also do you think it is worth it to start something like this becuase his starting skills are not awesome, but also not too bad.

Does anyone have a experience with some similiar training?
Thanks

You can definitely train this draftee and it is also a good idea to start with outside skills.
However, it also depends on what you want to train with regards to your U21 PG.

The center draftee needs mainly PS and JS to get more rounded. Is that what you want to train for your PG as well?
Some OD, Driving and Handling might also not hurt and would push him more towards PF.

I would even say you should consider training outside skills for two full seasons and then move to the inside skills.

in most situations 1 on 1 1st season is a way to go to later get that sweat elastic effect.
