apart from Duguid (96), Innes (65), Osman (69) and Mac (70) can consider themselves unlucky not to pop in GS. Staples had 59, which is arguably worse than 65-70.

The Iran CT was either inspired or desperate, guess we find out next week.

I think we just had everything go wrong that could go wrong all in the same week. Its notoriously difficult to get game shape right after the first week of the season. Going from 7 to even 8 is much harder than actually staying at 9, and is more to do with luck at this point than good minutes.

Couple that with Iran CTing, and obviously they were a capable team anyway and we're screwed even before the game starts. It was fairly depressing watching the game but we're still in the competition. Iran's enth will be low but they can probably still beat Egypt to give themselves 2 wins. We need to beat Brazil to leave all three of us on 2 wins, meaning PD will split us. So not only do we need to beat Brazil by 13 points, we need to also beat Brazil by 10 more than Iran beat Egpyt by.
