Which is better?
A player with a 4 ball rating & 5 ball potential. Or
A player with a 5ball rating & 3/4 ball potential?

What does the grade rating mean too? E.g. A+ , A-

A player with a 4 ball rating & 5 ball potential. - This is much better.

A+, A - these ratings shows player's aproximate salary. Highest rating is A+, so he will have normal salary, for example, 5k

I would always choose a player with 4 balls rating and 5 balls potential. This players is an MVP, HOF or ATG (but not often).

This is where we hold them!

3 balls potential vs unknown potential

Player A, 3 balls potential: 33 mins FG 10-15 3FG 1-2 FT 3-6 5Reb 3Assists 3TO 4Stl 1Blk 3PF 24Pt (SG)
Player B, unknown potential: 39 mins FG 6-14 3FG 0-3 FT 2-3 4Reb 7Assists 4TO 2Stl 1Blk 3PF 14Pt (PG)

All the scouting points were used up already, which draftee would you prefer? I probably bet on player B, hope for 4 balls potential. Or 4TO and 3PF means 2 balls potential, huh?

Unknow potential is dangerous. Because he can be a potential bw o a HoF. 0-3 3FG means no JR, atrocious or pitiful. In a PG it's difficult to play without JR.
