Hello guys,

I have 2 brothers, and older one and a younger one living with me, we all used to play buzzerbeater a few years back. Now me and my older brother have started to play again.

We never had any transfers between the 2.

I have had an offer on a player of mine recently, players like him usually go from 50k to 150k, and I put him up for 100. Some guy gave 120k right away. I thought it to be a little weird and checked his team, and it's from my country (Portugal). I'm afraid it could be my younger brother trying so mess with me but I really can't be sure.

We all live together , so I guess we would share the same IP and it would ban us, but neither me nor my older brother did anything...
I have reported him already just in case.
What could I do to make sure it's not him? Or if it is, to not get screwed?

Cheers

Ok, I never bought any player form my older brothers team, we played a friendly game only.
My younger brother says it's not him, but I can't be sure he's telling the truth...

Thanks for the help

Just get the name and team number of your younger brother's team and make sure he understands he can get you banned if he bids on your players. You should tell the staff that you 3 use the same IP and if by accident someone bids on someone else's players you should probably report yourself, because GMs have been known to be rather inflexible in these cases (colleagues, siblings etc).

OK, I just don't want to lose my team... If I outbid this other team (either he is my brother or not) on my player, there is no reason to get banned though is there? I would rather pay then lose the team

I'd think so yes. I would try to find out what team your brother owns though.

What I would suggest doing is that for any of your players you have listed that you feel have bids on that are irregular (either because they are overbid or because you think the bidder may be someone who has shared an IP with you), go into your team's home page, choose the "Report This Team" and include the playerIDs of your players in the report and explain the situation there. It's far better to report incidents that do not look right than it is to leave them alone to be discovered without report, as when you self-report we have your commentary to take into consideration and when you do not we do not.
