Hello guys,

I'm basically considering training my boy to be a Point Guard, that will switch on Defense to the Small Forward position. Something like Lebron James / Giannis kind of player.

This is what I'm looking for +- :
17 10
16 19
19 15
17 16
10 6

My question is if anybody got experience playing with this kind of team strategy, good driving and Inside PG and a Guard playing at 3 on offense that can shoot, and then defend the point position.

What do you consider the best offensive strategys for this team...Outside isolation? Motion? Patience? Or look inside maybe, even tho you have an outside shooter at the 3.

Tks

Hmmm, this is more of a discussion than helping, but ok no problem eheh.

My idea of motion is lot of outside shots, but not exactly 3's, more of mid ranges. Having a guard and the 2 and 3, with some shooting and handles, and this Beasty PG would be good I think.

The other possible outside offense I wrote was oustide isolation?! But thats actually normal focus, it would focus on the PG matchup penetrating and feeding my bigs or even the wings for 3's I guess...

Whats wrong? lol...I already trained a NT player MVP with 139 TSP. Stoped training him at 29 years old. This one that I have is having better skills to start, and has better skills now starting 20 with 81TSP (no 15 drible pen and horrible defenses, balanced).

I'm a fan of figuring out what offense/defense you want to use, then build the players for it. That said, I think the best-suited offense for that hypothetical team is easily LI.

Yeah true, the thing is that SF's are as we know expensive. With this idea, I would train my SF and just get a cheaper SG playing at the 3 attacking, with some OD and Jumpshot/range.
Imagine that this SF attacking as 7/8 IS, isnt Look Inside gonna put him missing a lot of shots probably?

I found one of these ...
18 13
15 13
16 13
14 15
12 7
This player was trained with a 7-level coach for 6 seasons. In other seasons with 6-level coaches. He was training until he was 29 years old. (and when the player was 18 years old and had no training for half a season)

So good luck ... (it is not impossible)

Just one question. What is the optimal height?
