In order to keep fans happy you have to play to win in league games, but in order to create the best possible players you have to train them properly. As the game is currently designed, these two elements are incompatible. Current design for a PF/C suggests he needs a high OD to be a complete player. In order to do this you have to play him out of position to get the best improvements. When you do this, you are more likely to lose games you might otherwise win. This depresses your fans and they don't come to the game. Then you can't afford to pay the PF/C you're working so hard to train properly. This is just one example, but I wish there was a way to either get better training for players (why can't they improve in practice instead of the game), or change the definition of what makes a great player. You can't just use scrimmages. He either ends up with too many minutes or sometimes not enough minutes. Maybe you could lower the required number of minutes to get full benefit of training. Then he could spend more time at his real position.

Hello

This is one of things that BB is a crazy and fun game.

To soluting this problem, I ever say: "I look to Offs". You training hard your player in regular season and on Offs, train Free Throw and put the players in your best positions.

At same time big mans need to train OD, defensives outside players need to train SB.

If you don't wanna loss games or training out position, buy a complete player and win games.

Your goal is same: win.
The way is the choice:
1 loss regular-training; or
2 win regular-buying.

On first, you have income and still the cash but need some seasons [Pros Revenue; Against Time]

On second, you pay with cash but gain time [Pros Time; Against Revenue]
