Do you all have any advice on the best way to train up a SF? Or a link to any Help pages?

Thanks man, I really appreciate the tips. I have trained guards and big men from the ground up but never a SF. I always just buy them but I would like to try my hand at it with this kid since he is 18 and has MVP potential. A 3rd round steal lol.

I took Meade, who was a SF when I got the team back in season 35 I think, and have started to make him a SG. He had ok inside skills but his outside skills far out weighed his inside potential so I just did 1on1 for a a season or two and now have been working on his outside Defense. This will be his first full season starting at SG since season 35 and 36 when he started at SF. He looked good in my relegation games so I'm hoping he will be a stalwart there while I train my next PG or PF/C.

Quno's given you some really good advice. Me personally with mine I tend to start with their outside defense since the main thing I want him to be able to do is guard whoever he'll be matched against no matter what defense scheme I choose. I like the guy's height at 6'6" The really wonderful thing is once he's an awesome SF when he ages where he's too slow to be a SF he'll be a legit backup PF or SG
