It is 100% completely UNREALISTIC. That at 0:00 left in a game, that is a 1 score game, that a foul would be a non-shooting foul done in this situation. The only possible scenario of that, is its an intentional off-ball foul to a player who doesn't have the ball and therefore chance for a shooting motion, in which case it would still be a situation that awards free throws.

In real life I guess it's unrealistic. But the way this game is coded every possession can result in a foul in any way.
Perhaps it's possible to prevent this in some way in the GE code. But as it is now this is the way it works.



The last 2 sentences was all was looking for.
Possible fix. Not overly taxing. Can be done in future.

Maybe there was really 0:00.2 seconds left on the clock but since we can't see anything past a full second we've never been able to tell that.

Could it be a JR Smith situation where the offensive player didn't really know what the situation was? Instead of a bug, maybe it should go on Shaqtin' A Fool? If there isn't already, it would be cool to have a Shaqtin' thread for all of those situations.
