Lots of untrained players' salary increased.... Why?
There was no advice and it's a pita for a game with a long term programming path.

It happened last season and two seasons ago.
I think the update is not complete. The system may have some adjustment or balance later.

Announcement on the main page:

Due to a small mistake in the salary formula, we managed to increase the salaries when the intention was do decrease them (slightly, of course). The mistake will be rectified in shortly.


Then be patient. ;)
