Last 4 seasons Im dealing with a lot of injuries every season, in both teams, and for the first time im thinking about quitting this game, and its been about ten years playing. I know is part of the game, and its also part of the game in real life (Warriors this season) and we have to deal with it.
Nevertheless, number of users are decreasing and Im pretty sure one of the reasons is getting some injured players in a bad moment, ruining seasons of planning and effort.
Do you think it is necessary?? Dont would be better if injuries were removed from the game?? I mean, sports manager include injuries, but I think no one would ask implement injuries if they werent in the game.

Poll:  Injuries in the game

Yes, like real life
No, is just a game

I agree with you. I had 3 injuries this season and its still very early in the season. All 3 were 2 weeks of injury. 2 of them is still recovering and 1 of them is my trainee. Its so dissapointing, structure needs to change I cant be that unlucky.

You could also have kept a better doctor throughout, and had a bigger bench of players. You took the risk of getting unlucky with injuries and then you did. This is not a reason in and of itself to change the injury mechanic.

Injuries are important in helping to increase the randomness and uncertainty during the season. The season outcomes can often be a bit too predictable, and injuries help shake things up. There are ways for managers to mitigate the risk and uncertainty, but those require trade offs. Making those trade offs is the heart of a manager game.

Completely agree but I'd like to stress the point again that no injuries means no need for doctors so that's one expense gone from the game, and removal of the choice of whether to have an expensive bench or not. Deciding to not have a quality bench or at the very least backups who can start if necessary removes decisions from the game thus making it even less strategic than it already is.

In nba we see people winning with 6 players. 7 is optimal ammount, and always was.

My players are getting no more than 80 minutes a week, I have a level 4 doctor. So your statement is ireelevant. You will change your mind when your 2 of your starters get injured for 2 or more weeks.

More variety of kind of forcing people to have more players is disadvantageous to new users, and advantageous to old ones. Because there is no infrastructure at first to support and to buy more than 7 players to start competing.

The guy who has 400k net income because of huge arena in div 4 can support and buy like 10 players. But new user who has 6k arena and no cash to work out can only get like 200k net income. Thats twice as much in div 4.

Do you know how much fun is to wait cash to generate and expand arena to the level you can support decent squad to advance past farm? Do you want the situation to be even worse?

Also in case of injuries if you have 7 guys roster and you get injuries, its your fault, you should have cash to be prepared to buy replacement not to lose every next game.
