Okay, probably a lame question, but just how important is Jump Shot training? I mean, I understood that you have to be able to put the ball in the bucket, but just how high is it really needed to be a successful team? I have numerous players with around 90 skill points, most in the 20 to 26 age range. I've tried to give them all, to one degree or another, a balanced skill set. But I look at these players, and many don't have a Jump Shot above Proficient. I'm currently in League 3, I finished in 3rd place with a record of 13-9. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I always focused defense first. Jump shot does increase your player’s chance of the ball going in the basket. At some point up the ladder you will need to be able to score in order to win. I have spent this entire season training jump shot, guards, wingman, and forwards. I did notice that I put up more points as the season went on, or at least shot higher percentages from those players that got most of the training.
