I am proposing the addition/update to team infrastructure on BB.

As a result, I feel like it will add additional time spent on BB (if chosen), increase strategies thus improving playability, and start to put a dent in those treasure chests some guys have saved up.

BB has done a great job thus far in adding some features such as Gym, training court, recovery center, radio station, and merchandise store. One thing about this list though is that some of these can result in increased profits, thus leading to the more going into those lovely treasure chests.

My proposal for addition is for the ability to purchase your own development team. Similar to the G League in the NBA, this will allow you to add more players to your team that you can send to the development team to train. The kicker is that you have to pay a pretty decent amount to keep this team running. I don't want to make it super expensive to start one, as it will completely eliminate new teams (this may not be bad though), but I do propose the upkeep for it is substantially higher. So if you are in lower leagues you have to essentially decide to compete or develop.

I'm proposing the development team can only allow 8 players on the team. Only 1 HOF trainee may be on it at all times, only 1MVP can be on it, 1 SS can be on it, and then the rest MUST be 7 potential or lower. So what what this will allow is for a team to truly build depth for their team.

Now, the reason I think this will be great is primarily for guys who love to be homegrown! A lot of times when you are homegrown you get to save up gobs of money, but at some point you have nothing to spend money on. This will give a reason to spend. I feel many branches could come off of the development team that could benefit BB in the long run in attracting and keeping players.

This would even widen the gap between new managers and old ones. Now what do new infrastructure does. Basicly allowing older teams to have 40k higher salaries without paying overextension tax, and that in like div III is huge; it decides if you would compete for championship or for relegation. It used to catch up from the start only with arena, which tooked like 3-5 seasons; now it already takes around 7-8? why widen the gap?

I always thought that training system this game has is not realistic. And the decision to throw games or compete while training youth is unnatural. The best interest for everyone would be to compete, not to built.

I think it would be best if every team would have free development team with free coaches; for example you could have like 8 players; 6 for training and lets say 2 for extra if injuries or something else. And it would be only players up to age 22 allowed there. Maybe add possibility to have like two way contracts like NBA does, so players could jump to main team if needed. This way the main team would only train players 22 or older if necessary. So for example the low division team would not even need to get coach at all because development team would fully develop their players and higher division team could opt to continue training with coaches exactly like we do training now.
