Will someone explain to me that I still play the cup game, but the overview is that I dropped out of the cup ???

It looks like it is determined in advance who will fall out and who will advance

This game has a lot of glitches, sometimes in your league playoffs you will see people "advance" to the next round early. Don't take it to mean much besides cheap website development and poorly experienced game developers combining to create spaghetti code.
