Sometimes I don't understand how the game "works". The same players, the same tactic, and two absolutely opposite quarters...

Home field advantage matters more in the second half, as does game shape.

It should not be like that.
The% gain for playing at home is the same in minute 1 as in 48 ... I think.



When none of that explains it, I just think, maybe it's just the Patriots cheating.

I am with you Swift. I feel the exact same way about HCA and then end of game stamina and GS having a huge impact, and I think those are probably the two most non-talked about factors in a good-effective player.

I think game shape is more important that stamina. I don't think I have ever had a 9 stamina player or higher. You're right about stamina under a 3 or 4. But over the course of many seasons, while I have no stats to back this up, I think GS is more critical if you want your key players to play well in the fourth quarter.
