I just played a game with "normal" enthusiasm, and my rating went up 3 points as if I played TIE. My team played awful (though I expected to lose) and I wonder if somehow the engine used TIE anyway. My box score confirms it was set to "normal."
Has this happened to anyone else?

The box score indicates you used less effort than Krusty Krab Krew, unless he crunch timed you then you played Take it Easy. You can check by opening up a game you haven't played yet and using the "Load Former Match Tactics" window at the top of the lineup page.

No, it has never happened to me.

edit: Does it say "Your team effort for this game: Normal" on the boxscore?

Yes, it does say "Normal" on the boxscore by I doubt the other team was crunch time - so I think the game did run as if I was TIE. I was eager before the game and inspired afterward. Weird. I'll gladly take the bonus motivation - if it works next time!

I just looked and he did crunchtime a guy for a TV game earlier this season, he may have CT'd you here, too. That wouldn't explain the boost to your Ent though. In the playoffs, "playoff normal" gives normal effort, but the benefits of TIE, hmmm. I'm out of ideas.

Thanks - I'll just assume a one-time quirk for now.
