Hi guys,

LET'S TALK ABOUT DRAFT !

I have a question for everyone. Are you guys happy with the draft system ?

I'm wondering how this system works exactly ? For example, and this is such a common question, how is it possible that one country gets 20 HOF, 5 or more ATG players, and another country gets few HOF and 0 ATGs in a single season ?

Are there any criteria on the basis how the GE gives draft players to the countries and leagues ? If not, is there any possibility to make something like that ?

For example ( and this is just an example ) is it possible to create something like fixed percentage of draftees ?

So, fixing this kind of percentage will result as:

- Country with III league levels ( 112 teams ) will get 336 draft players will get:
- 1% of ATG players which will result as 3 ATG players in a single generation;
- 3% of HOF players resulting as a 10 HOF players in a single generation;
- and so on...

We can also discuss about the transfers market and general players number after making this. About positive or negative reflection to the transfer list etc...

Why I'm asking this ? For example take our, Bosnian community. We have 126 active teams around 15 Utopia teams, around 40 managers are training our players ( which is over 30% of community engaged in training ), many of us constructed gym level 3, we're using additional coach for our younsters, and still we were awarded with none of ATG players.

We can see players with 140+ skills on TL only 24 years old. What's the point of playing with National teams if some communities get so much more big potentials in every generation? We will train our players and make few 21yo players with around 115-120TSP and that's it. Our conversion rate of HOF and ATG players is 100% in that case. Others have an opportunity to create 10 players like that, and we lag behind everyone at the early beggining...

So, the thing is, you can play in perfect and compact community, with over 30% managers engaged in training players and still you'll get few talents to train.

This thread is not created for us to complain, our NT teams and managers envolved in training will manage this also, I just want to start discussion about this and I want to hear your opinion about this.

Thanks in advance for your answers,

Cheers,
enynho.

It is a numbers game. Of course countries with more managers will get more draftees because they have more divisions. And the likelyhood that those ATG and HOF will find their way to the TL is a lot bigger. Where in countries such as yours and mine, there are less draftees and there is also a bigger chance some good draftees end up with bots. I think the odds and calculations are the same between countries and in some generations you miss out, it is just a small deviation, that the bigger countries are not susceptible to due to their higher user numbers.

Not every draft is NBA 2003, some are 2000.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

Hedo, J-crossover, Mike Miller and Michael Redd. And of course the great Jamal Magloire. Bless them for being the face of an otherwise scrubs draft.

Maybe it's funny for you, but it's not for us, it's sad to get only 2 HOF-s in a generation.

I’m not making it a joke. I’m saying it is reality that not every class will produce Hall of Fame talent. Other than coding a specific amount of Hall of Fame OT All-Time Great players to each country, I’m not sure what the BBs could do. Plus, those guys could go to bots anyway. It’s a luck of the draw that doesn’t always pan out.

What about this:

http://prntscr.com/stkshu- what about this. Last season we had 5 players taller than 203 cm. Two of them had like 38 TSP, how to make something from that. We should compete with Italy, France, Spain...

BB dont give us a chance and thats sad. From almoust 400 players we got 5 players taller than 203 cm...

Our draft is awful last XY seasons and there should be something to fix that.
We don't get quality players at all, with TSP or with potential.

Its easy to talk for you both:
France Active Teams:: 770
USA Active Teams:: 911

I'm sure you don't have this problem "Not every draft is NBA 2003"

This is where we hold them!
