My draft pick's name is Steve Strauss, how is that a Japanese name? Why is that name even in the name bank?I have lived in Japan for 17 years and have never seen a Japanese National with such a foreign name.

I live here. And some Foreigners even take their wife's last name For example, my friends last name is Stone but his daughters use Matsumoto as not to stand out. And you would never see a Japanese kid with the name Steve because there is no V sound in Japanese.
