Hey Guys,

This season I want to begin correcting any mistakes I've made while training my franchise player. Give me your best advice as to how you would move forward training this guy. (I have a lvl 4 trainer).

I would echo what Jokeru said. Great plan, and a great player!

My only caution: When you train his IS be ready for his salary to jump a lot. If you want to keep him on your team make sure that the increased salary is something you can afford.

Much appreciated!

I will definitely consider the salary impact of training this player. I believe as long I can stay at least D3 and fight to promote I should be fine.

Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt but I would train him this season in 1v1 forwards and then sell.

The time to train his outside skills was long ago - before his salary got so high. Now that his salary is astronomically high for a D3 team, using him as a PG in order to train outside skills will essentially tank your team for not much in return. How fast do we expect a 7'4'' player at 23/24 to gain OD? It's just not worth it in my opinion and you'd get a much better return and quicker return if you sold now or at the end of the season.
