Hey All,
Thought I would make a thread for anyone looking to talk about the current season. It looks like the top 2 in each conference is pretty locked in.

We will see if the All-star teams are as dominated by them as it was last year. Can't imagine the All-star team without José del Carmen Méndez.

As for what is on the horizon the two undefeated number 1 are going head to head next week. Should be an interesting match if the Rats have set tactics.

Best of Luck everyone!

Cheers!

I wanted to post a little league update. A power rankings like I have seen other leagues do. Hopefully this will help teams and keep us all coming back week to week.
These power rankings will be a 700 point system based on five categories that are weighted as follows:

Team Record: 250 points
Team Salary: 100 points
Cup Success: 150 points
Point Differential: 100 points
Last 3 Team Ratings (League,Cup,BBM): 100 points

These ratings will not be super accurate as im tired and procrastinating actual work but hopefully I get better at it and people enjoy it. Right now I'm just doing the human teams. Plus it makes my team look better. This is what I have so far.

Power Rankings:

1 SM Lizards (12-0) (659 points)
2 Brooklyn Rats (12-0) (587 points)
3 Montgomery Jewelers (10-2) (515 points)
4 Majarlika (9-3) (508 points)
5 Dracos Demons (7-5) (327 points)
6 Coos Bay Cougars (6-6) (305 points)
7 The Dubs!! (7-5) (285 points)

Holy SMokes!

What a Conference Finals in the Big 8!

An overtime Nailbaiter gets Majarlika to the Finals!

Hopefully he still has enough steam to take it home for the Big 8.

Last I checked SM Lizards were 57th in line to auto promote. Probably 30 of those team will win their respective league championships and then there are 16 extra auto promotes from D4.

So that means it will probably only get to 46th maybe even to 50th on the list for auto promoted sides. So barring 90% of regular season conference leaders also winning the championships in D4. SM Lizards look like they may be stuck here in D4 for another season.

Controversy as surrounded the Jaguars ever since that New England Rebels game. "Why did the Jaguars coach decide to play Ken Fogle in a game that didn't matter, on top of that, the Jaguars aren't even training PG so there was no point in Ken even being out there.

BREAKING NEWS: Ken Fogle will be out for at least 2 weeks with a broken nose.

Jaguars coach had this to say earlier: "I haven't heard all the talk this week about my decision to play Fogle. If I listened to everything sports talk show host have to say, I would be sitting in your seats. I have the task of making these hard decisions. Of course it's easy to look back and second guess yourself after an injury occurs. But I will say this much, Fogle was looking forward to playing against the Rebels. What is considered a meaningless game to all yall, the players in this locker room don't see it the same way. Every game is a chance to get better
