In my last two games I have played inside against a 6'3 power forward and a 6'4 center. I played look inside in both games to take advantage of it and my power forward was outrebounded and outscored and my center was out rebounded as well. Both my center and power forward are strong(8) in rebounding and are 6'11 and 7'2 in height. Why is the coach not taking advantage of this? My small forward is 6'10 and is a very good inside scorer and his defender was 6'3. At what point does the coach see that his players are a half foot taller and that is why I chose to play inside. I am 6'3 and a good rebounder compared to other people my height and slightly taller. If i had to guard someone who has 8 to 10 inches on me i would not be able to both outrebound them and play good enough defense to stop them as well.

In BB, height only reflects the ability to train a certain skill and not the ability to use it. A 6'0 player with respectable inside defence defends inside as well as a 7'3" player with respectable inside defence, but the tall guy can improve his skill more quickly.

I know, it's a little counter-intuitive, but that's how it works. Skill levels are absolute and not relative: respectable skill is respectable, regardless of height.

i dont recall where i read this but it says that a 7'1 player with medicore rebounder will have a better chance at getting the rebound then a 6'6 with respectablr. IHeight has to be considered. i guarder players with a huge height difference on me and i was a defensive player. I could not gaurd them as well because they could post me up better and shoot over me. You cant not even playerd off and forget abot height.

This player is great evidence of that height doesn't matter in the Game engine:

In the 4th Season, he averaged 14,4 rebounds despite being 5'11.

Then it should be changed.
think how stupid it is a 5'11 player who grabs more rebounds then the best players in the NBA do. Part of the game should be about getting the mismatch for your team and taking advantage of it. That NEEDS to be added to the game engine. Real life teams change their lineups and rotations for this reason all the time. So why cant we implement this. That is what i would like to know.

Do you think that REB=8, 7´00 is good enough as NBA player? This is only good amateur player, and NBA PG may be better rebouder ( positioning, speed, jumping ) ....

But that 7 foot dud would probably average 7rpg(bad for a center) while the best of the best pg skills his way to 5 or 6rpg and gets all the hype because of it. But the 7 footer can train and get better faster in BB.
