Just suppose you have a team in first place in a league and has a 15-2 record. I know that's dreamland but just suppose. When they lose the first game, their merchandise sales drop 15% and it takes most of the season to build it back. When they lose the second game, 15 games later, their attendance drops 2500 for the next game and their team is once again at breakeven. BBB makes it very hard to remain profitable if you invest in high price players. It seems you need to either go undefeated or build up a massive bankroll so you can withstand these drops. In all seriousness, I think BBB logic vastly overemphasizes one game of poor performance. It should assign more value to overall performance.

What level is your PR Manager?

I dumped a bunch of money into Arena Design this season, 500k for Guzzlers and 200k for my Utopia team. I've noticed very little change with Guzzlers but my Utopia has been selling out with good ticket prices. It might be arena size, but I totally agree that it can be frustrating. CT on my TV game and against my rival and finally my fans are trailing back in.

Most Guzzler's fans have a drinking problem and might get lost on the way to the stadium, but it's still a tough climb to stay profitable.

lol I just deleted a long message. I have a world renowned PR manager, but I have a couple thoughts related to that.

One, it may be my arena is too big for a level III league. I have 21.9k arena and that just may be too many seats. I compared to the Guzzlers arena. Guzzlers have 16.5k with a $0.5k design skin. I have those 21.9k seats with a $1.0k design skin. Guzzlers sells out with higher price tickets, I don't sell out with lower price tickets. This would suggest my arena is too big. Still, it doesn't answer my irritation of attendance dropping 2500.

My other thought is about the world renowned PR manager. I've seen the posts that are supposed to show the numberical value of each level of PR manager. I honestly haven't seen that much impact in attendance. I have seen pretty big gains in merchandise sale, but after my first loss of the season, my merch sales dropped 15% so that was a big hit too.

I'm right a breakeven with my current arena, pricing and roster. I honestly think I had more fun when I focused on the draft and building players from scratch. Depending on how this season ends, maybe I'll go back to those old days. This is my 51st season. Maybe I'm just a little tired

I'm building draftees on my utopia and it's super fun, but my favorite part of this game is being competitive and having those tense and close games!

Very tough game vs. the PowerRiders tonight. Wild 4th quarter, great 3 point shooting by them. Lucky to get the "W".

Upset by the Muskies. Everything looked in my favor but was taken down three's and free throws. Good game!
