Hello everyone,
I bring a proposal that seems very interesting to me, although I don't know if it has been discussed before. If so, I apologize, although I haven't found anything in the forum.
I suggest creating national teams of veteran players.
For example, they could be players from 37 or 38 years old.
In this way, managers would have the challenge of avoiding level drops and the useful life of many players would be extended.
Another advantage is that good veteran players would not sell for a few thousand to play one or two games, because being in a national team they could not be fired.
Furthermore, by creating another category of national teams, more managers could aspire to be NT coaches.
Of course, this type of NT would remain at a level of importance below the U21.
What do you think?
