Looks like we are getting three new teams on each side for S65.

Grats to the 87ers! Hope you survive.

Thank you! I hope I survive too. It's not my first rodeo in Division 2 (more like my 10th) but this will be the first time with a younger group of trainees.

DIII playoffs is the furthest I have ever gotten.

Are you going homegrown, lol? WTF is with all these 22 year olds?!

I've been fortunate to spend 9 (now 10) seasons in D2 and 6 season (54-78 record) in the NBBA.

I'm not homegrown but I am 100% USA players. I prefer to train players from scratch and I've had some negative experiences with NT managers from other countries so I only use USA players now.

I wanted to use homegrown draftees, but when I started my rebuild with the Season 59 draft, I ended up with a crappy draft class in terms of potential so I had to buy 18yo trainees off the market. I wanted to build a team of 6'5" to 6'8" players with SF skillsets. I ended up with 6 (Shelton, Edwards, Nava, Connor, Guillen and Griffith). Shelton, Edwards, Connor and Nava became my main ones moving forward. I bought Hayes later as his skill set was too much to pass up.

Shelton and Edwards were in the running for the USA U21 team but only Edwards was actually used. The challenge is trying to get more than 3 player max training.

Damn. Nice work.

I am 100% USA too. I enjoy the extra cash and challenge. Last Q, what level trainer do you run with that type of roster setup? Cheers man!

I had a Level 6 trainer and Level 6 youth trainer when they were 18/19. I upgraded to a Level 7 trainers at age 20 and have had that ever since.

Looking back I would have gone for Level 7 trainers in both spots at ages 18/19. I just didn't have the finances at the time.
