Hi can someone explain how the rankings in this game works? Not that it matters to me but curious how it works, what effects the ranking because my team has won most of the games in the league but the teams are 10k+ ranking but it has dropped almost 500 places,

I have the same question, but from the perspective of the national team. How Italy can be so low, as last week they were rk
28? They are clearly top10 team and because they missed second round last year (had 500+ rk points) how it is possible they dropped so much, even lower than teams never make to second round.

I guess it is similar to the rankings of national team.
The game manual has some information about NT rankings.

See the link from littleguest. The important thing there is that it's a rolling window. So your results from exactly 2 seasons ago disappear every week and get replaced by the latest game. If the points that fall off were better than the ones you're getting now then you can drop despite winning. This happens for example if you got far in a cup 2 seasons ago or were beating stronger opponents while now you are just winning games against weaker teams. In national teams it means it's really good to qualify for something since even losses will give better points than points in scrimmages.

and the victory matters more if it s against better competition, the same way a loss matters more if it s against lower competition.
