Hello Ghana!!!

My name is Dani and I would like to have the opportunity to be the new national coach.

I have a lot of experience in national teams since I have coached Latvia and Cyprus. I have also worked on staff in Spain.

On the other hand, I have trained players for various national teams and my goal is to make Ghana grow as well as fight for medals in the Africa Cup.

Greetings

Hello again Ghanaian voters!

I'm back again in hopes of securing a spot as your newest manager of the Ghana NT! For those of you that don't recognize me from last time, I'm The Facilitator, a simulation sports addict and irl basketball nerd who took on the challenge of building up the nation of Ghana a few seasons ago. Over the past couple seasons, we've been able to identify and grow the usually forgotten second tier of prospects that a small playerbase nation like Ghana needs to compete against other similar nations. It's been a tough road so far, but we've already seen our efforts pay dividends with numerous U21 appointments and a handful of future NT players being developed as we speak. While I will continue to focus my efforts on building up Ghana regardless of an appointment, gaining control of the Ghana NT can help us modernize our efforts to catch up with what other NT's are doing in the current BB landscape.

Where are we now?
Ghanaian Development Network
As things stand, we currently have three teams working toward the development of Ghanaian players.

Current Network:
Woodward Avenue Warriors (265965) - Ghanaian + 1 Homegrown USA Prospect (I had to keep one of my guys!) - Developing two future NT players
Berekuso Jacanas (277173) - Fully Ghanaian - Just transitioned to fully Ghanaian. In Phase 1 of developing five U21 prospects and one long term future NT player
Kumasi Porcupine Warriors (275970) - Fully Ghanaian - In season 3 of development of U21 prospects currently age ~20

If this sounds like a fun project to you, I highly encourage you to dedicate your Utopia team to developing prospects for Ghana. Even allstar potential players can make it in the U21 ranks with how shallow the current player pool is.

What would I improve?
National Team Spreadsheet
Creating an all-encompassing database for all Ghanaian players is priority number one. Out of all the Ghanaian players in the game, 132 may be relevant for U21 or NT purposes. The true number is likely far far lower, but using the NT roster to prior to the NT enthusiasm reset next season to scout out our outlook is crucial to our future success as a nation. Documenting all of this data and introducing better player tracking will help us grow the roster at the best rate we possibly can.

Ghana NT Discord
It seems like every other major nation has a unified NT discord server for communication between anyone interested in helping the cause. I would establish the same exact thing here, plus taking on an effort to give updates both on the discord and in the forum.

Roster Shakeup
While I hesitate to promise any sort of performance gains over previous seasons since this NT is a long term work in progress that we need to be patient with, I can tell you that our NT would have the best possible roster we could put together with the players provided.

Ghanaian Private League
Since Ghana plays under Nations of Africa, putting together an optional private league made up of teams from Ghana, teams with U21/NT players, and teams that are part of the Development Network could be a good way to drive engagement moving forward. Keeping engagement up with our four current Ghanaian users is vital to getting prospects into the development system.

Closing Thoughts
Taking on the challenge of building up Ghana has been a fun one for me. I know a lot of people enjoy this game the normal way by rising through the ranks, trying to promote up while developing whatever guy shows the greatest potential, but I've become pretty attached to this crop of players that I've been willing into relevancy over the past few seasons. It's how I've been having fun here through the last year. Getting the opportunity to lead Ghana into the next chapter of their BB future would mean a lot to me, and it's not a responsibility I take lightly.

Thanks for your consideration, and go Ghana!
-The Facilitator
