So for the probably first time, I have a Fan Survey that is all 5s, a 4.5, and a 1 (star players).

And I draw the 27th ranked team in the country for the Cup.

His best player costs almost my whole salary, and is 6x the DMI of my best player.

Not only will this cost me ~150k in cup earnings, it's gonna tank my fan response for the rest of the year.

And I just expanded my arena after filling it for 2 games.

Don't fret. An early cup outing could prove to be worth it in the long run, you get to be able to not have to think about sacrificing a league game in order to keep minutes in line. Yeah, the cup money is nice but I bet you could probably make up for it with some nice timely league wins.

Yes, I'm hoping that by solidifying a starting lineup & backups rather than rotating for minutes, I can improve my Star Players fan survey question as well, maybe improve my merch some, and do better in MVP voting etc.

And in my experience, the "did well in the cup" question is both not that big of a component of the overall fan survey and is more forgiving for lower division teams than for NBBA and d2 teams.

Winning your TV and rival games is, in my experience, a much larger portion of the fan survey than anything else, and then overall standing in your league is a close second. Most everything else seems to be more decorative than effective for fan survey.
