Hello my fellow Canadian managers,

I want to toss my name in this race and would love your support. Although I don't have an elaborate 5-year plan like the current coach, my plan is simple, to compete and win as many games as possible. They say if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best, so it doesn't make any sense to me why we should be "throwing" games away.

If elected to be the U21 coach, I will extensively scout prospects and follow their progression year-over-year, reaching out to their managers and encouraging them to continue training appropriately and offer advice as needed. I'm not sure if there is a database with players skills currently, but I plan to create on personally if there isn't and update it year-to-year. This will allow me to analyze which prospects are receiving training, and which may be being missed. This will be critical in ensuring we are competitive year after year and the success eventually translated to the national team.

I took some time to review the current prospect landscape for Canada. A quick analysis of the current 18-19 year old players is showing me some things:

1. There are 89 players with MVP or greater potential. 56 players with MVP potential 32 with HOF and 1 ATG.
2. Although PG dominates most of these (28 of the 89), currently no PG has a salary over $7,000.
3. Our 18 year old pool is shallow, representing only 25 of the 89 noted above (14 MVP & 11 HOF). My goal will be to ensure these players receive consistent training, even if it means I have to bribe managers and purchase them myself.
4. Our PF pool is also shallow, with one HOF 18 year old prospect. Though there are a good amount of 19 year olds (40), none of them have more than $7,000 salary.

Given this information, I will create a plan to address the gaps in our prospect pool through future drafts and proper training.

Personally, I have been playing BB on/off since 2010 or so. I have trained some NT players and U21 players for smaller nations here and there, and was manager of a small NT at some point as well.

The opportunity to analyze the game, player development, and translating that to wins would bring me lots of joy. I would appreciate the opportunity to represent Canada as the U21 NT manager. #LetsBringitHome #CanadaFirst

Cheers,
Narrylegend
