I like how the perceived strength of each division can drastically change after just one single season.
If we compare S69 to S70, some changes are noteable:
#8 - II.4 Big 8 - #8 - II.4 Big 8
This spot remained the same
#7 - II.4 Great 8 - #7 II.3 Big 8
The Dabberz and Flowers of Scottland are able to threaten any Div2 team in Europe, they are also the only reason why the division is not dead last in the ranking.
#6 - II.3 Big 8 - #6 II.2 Great 8
Santa Booker proving that he belongs to the Big Boys Leagues and going indeed on a deep playoff run. The Scottish Trifecta across the Big 8 and Great 8, the Glasgow Blue Jays, the Glasgow Raptors, and Locomotive Edinburgh dictating the tempo during the regular season, outgunning their opponents with their impressive offensive arsenal, and putting to shame the military spendings of several countries in the world. This was until Celestia BC decided to invest 100% of their GDP in their offense and went full bunker buster in the playoffs. Make no mistake, the members of the II.2 Great 8 are competitive contenders at any given moment.
#5 - II.1 Big 8 - #5 II.4 Great 8
Fimbles, a fellow survivor of the II.3 Great 8, and Stomas an ESL winner landing here, while the other teams have gradually improved their teams since last season... I feel great upsets will happen here in the future.
#4 - II.2 Great 8 - #4 II.2 Big 8
A swap has happened here. While the league seems to be marginally weaker than its II.2 counterpart, I have a feeling that some teams will opt to for buying strong players at the end of the season, and gun for a deep play off run.
#3 - II.3 Great 8 -#3 II.1 Great 8
While seemingly demoted to the #spot, we have many ESL veterans here who can show the new teams the definition of competitiveness.
#2 - II.2 Big 8 - #2 II.3 Great 8
i will simply repost a statement a user made a couple of seasons ago:
This league has been, in my opinion, the most difficult league among all divisions of Nations of Europe, perhaps even of all of Europe.
#1 - II.1 Great 8 - #1 II.1 Big 8
Minas Morgul being rated the 4th strongest team in that division should rightfully send shivers up your spine. Enough said, this is a terrifying group.
Overall, I would argue that the #5 II.4 Great 8 should be number #6, #4 II.2 Big 8 should be #5, and #6 II.2 Great 8 should remain on the number 4 spot.
