Each player that has played more than five minutes in a given match receives a rating, on a 1-10 scale.
Win big or lose a nail-biter on the road on TV and everybody wants your star player's jersey.
Note that this has nothing to do with the player's overall skill; if your worst player overall is the best on the court, he'll have the highest rating!
Why are they wrong, misleading and way out of date? How is a noob expected to get up to speed when large chunks of the rules are wrong? Some examples are:Each player that has played more than five minutes in a given match receives a rating, on a 1-10 scale.Hell, no. This wasn't true when I started out in early season 3. Check any DI team to see this is nonsense.Win big or lose a nail-biter on the road on TV and everybody wants your star player's jersey. No, again. I lost at the buzzer on the road and saw my merchandise revenue plummet 20-25% as well as my attendance for the next game take a dive.Note that this has nothing to do with the player's overall skill; if your worst player overall is the best on the court, he'll have the highest rating!I've never seen this happen. A bad statistical performance by a high salary player will always be rated higher than a fine statistical game from a low salary player. Those are ones I thought of quickly. Anyone else care to post some clangers from the rules so the noobs might have a chance?
