I am not very comfortable with TIE and CT stuff. I remember my ent. increasing to 7 from 5 after a TIE game and then dropping to 6 before next game. However, let's say I play TIE in the first game (ent 5) and then CT next game, where would I end up? How about playing normal first and then CT? Where would I end up next game. (I guess TIE is a safe bet for my 3rd official game though)
I just don't want to lose the league games when I advance in Tournament too :)

For one game TIE you get about plus 2 enthusiasm, for a game CT minus 2,5 or 3. However, the tendency alway goes back to an enthusiasm of 5. How much per day depends on the level of your enthusiasm. If you have for example an enthusiasm of 13, you´ll loose 1 per day. If you have an anthusiasm of 6, you´ll loose maybe just about 0,3 or something like that.

Playing TIE gives you a 33% boost to enthusiasm.
Playing CT gives you a 50% reduction in enthusiasm.

If you are planning to keep high enthusiasm, the most painful period for you would be the first 2 games you TIE. However, the higher your enthusiasm gets the faster the rate in which it drops. With constant TIE-ing and 3 games a week, you should walk into a match with enthusiasm around 10-11.

I disagree with your percentages. As you said yourself, it depends on the actual value of enthusiam.
Playing TIE the increase is always more or less 2, but the decrease depends on the actual level.

The TIE increase is not set to a certain number, for example 2.
It is the percentage of your actual enthusiasm going into the match. When I went into a match with enthusiasm 9, I always came out with enthusiasm 12. If I go in with enthusiasm 10 or 11, the figure coming out would be 13-14. It was always 33% of my enthusiasm value, take note of rounding figures though.

CT-ing from enthusiasm 9 will yield 4.5 (50% cut). Rounding will take it to a low 5.

I would back up my percentage values with a thread from not so long ago but I'm short of time to rummage through the threads. You're of course welcome to provide data to disprove the my percentages. =)

OK ;-)

The thing is: At the dimension we are talking about (enthusiasm about 9-12), a plus of 33% would lead more or less to the same value like a numer of about 2-2,5.

So let´s have a look at other values:
For example: Since a few games, i played with an enthusiasm of 11. After the game i get always 13, one day later 12, two days later 11, three days later still 11. This is my data since a little more than 2 weeks. I expect soon an increse to 14, the fist time.

If the increase would be about 33%, i should already have had an increas to 14 a time ago. But so far i just don´t get ;-(
This is the example i can give, which makes me think that the increase is always about plus ~2.

And i have this one:
Last season i had an enthusiasm of 5. I played one game CT, enthusiasm went down to 3 (a low 3, because 2 days later it was still 3). Next game, i played TIE, and it went up to 5. In this example both of our suggestions work, like an example from the begin of this season, when enthusiasm went up from 5 to 7 after one game TIE.

Maybe we should collect a few data. It shouldn´t be to many necessary to figure out the truth behind.

Man, i never had a jump from 11 to 15! And i play, as i wrote bevore, since a few weeks with pretty high entusiasm. But maybe i always start with a pretty low 11.
Let´s see today, i´m again at 11, it droped down today. Maybe i´ll do it to 15.

But from 10 - 15? Hard to imagine...

i think you'll end up with 14, but this amount match with spaz number more then the example .

But till the cup you was again at 10 or 11, because it drops heavily at this levels.

The enthusiasm is going to change for the playoffs? I mean if i got 8 and the playoffs is going to reset to 5 or it will remain in 8 (or 7)?
