I have yet to experiment with either CT or TIE, but my understanding is that enthusiasm gradually returns to 5 over time. It is also my understanding that it does so everyday regardless of whether the team plays any games that day.

So, considering I have a game on sat and will not play another for 7 days, would it be wise to CT on sat? Would my enthusiasm return to 5 before the following game?

Your way of thinking is correct... i'm pretty sure 7 days is not enough for it to return to 5 from 5...if you started at 7 then CT (3.5 afterwards) then maybe this might be enough to return to 5.....but again, dont quote me on this...
