best advise that was in a thread was to find you highest wage player in each position and play them the first game as starters, then 2nd highest wage in each position as backups.
also, try to determine what you might want to train. I just got a team 2 weeks ago and have been training stamina.
other than that, just analyze your players and find the best to compete with, and the best to train and sell in a season or so
