Is it possible to hide the stickys in some way?

All the stickys on Global are completely unitersting for me, so I have set them all to low priority, but as several of them (e.g. the valuation and scrimmage threads) have a lot of activity they fill up most part of my "sneak preiew", making this more or less useless. Furthermore the stickys takes about half of the space in the list of threads, which means that little space is left for the (according to my preferences) much more interesting threads. Thus I would like to hide the stickys, but have not fund out how to do this.

Finally, once I'm in the mood, I might as well complain over the shortcut bar in the bottom right corner, something that I never use and its only effect is that it covers part of the match report if I have a small window set. Is this possible to get rid off in some way?
