The first 3 Weeks you got additional 50.000$(oor maybe just two weeks, paease correct me)

- you are on the last place on your division, so i would 10$ in drafting for this and next week, afterwards i would reduce it to 5000 or zero(till you got enough money in weekly balace, that you could afford it easily)

-you should decide what kind of player you like to train Guards, forwards or Centers.
After this i would buy 3 of then and give then single position training till the playoff. In the playoff i would buy an additional one and train on two positions till the draft where you hopefully get 2 addiitonal trainee or player you could sell to buy new trainees.

this thread is full of help too -> (3944.1) but i will rate defense at each position with high priority, when you reach the part where he writes whats a player need on the special positions.

I'd watch your money a bit. You are getting $50,000/week bonus for the first 4 weeks. Also TV games bring in a bundle, and you missed out on the 3 for this season. Also it looks like you have missed out on the playoffs (don't worry, you can't relegate from D.III in Australia). So basically you are just learning the game and getting ready to start next season with a 0-0 record.

You will have a pretty good draft pick. Your draft picks can be as good as the players you were given, plus being younger and more trainable. Also, new teams are credited with quite a bit of scouting, so there is no reason to try to catch up. Maybe do $5000/week for the rest of this season.

You might go ahead and hire this week's trainer, and check again next week. The doctor and PR guy are too expensive, so pass on them.

You really don't need more than 12-13 players. You got an extraordinay percentage of older (30+) players, but they also look like they are your better players. BB is like HT in that training is age dependent, and also somewhat like HT in that there is a strong incentive to have younger players in the positions that you train. BB is a little more flexible in that you don't decide to train PG in defense for the next 5 season, but can change around a bit, and even position.

You want to schedule a scrimmage every Thursday, just like you schedule a friendly in HT. There is a sticky thread in Global (English) with ads for scrimmages - you need to do that by tomorrow (Wednesday, which may end up being Thursday in Australia). No advantage to playing foreign or domestic scrimmages - they don't have any revenue or costs. The only difference is that you play at the scheduled game time of the home team - so if you travel you'll have a few more hours to set your lineup.

You did get stuck with a lot of older players (who train more slowly than the younger ones) and your younger ones don't have all that much potential from the look of it so you probably won't start training properly until after you get your draft picks and after that you can decide what sort of a team you're going to be strategy/training wise.

You should be able to gauge the levels/tactics etc you'll need after playing the last few games of the season and learning your way around the place.

I would suggest training Centers or Shooting Guards....as these (especially C's) are quite easy to manage in the beginning. And nice C trainees are the most affordable. Also they can bring in some cash when they have been trained quite quickly.

And centers would probably be of more use to your team in the beginning. And winning games is more important here than in Hattrick, as this will boost crowd revenue.

Good PG trainees are harder to find and are more expensive. They will most likely not really contribute to your team for quite some time.

You really should be looking at training a position, rather than a single skill, and personally I'd train both guards. I'd look at point guard as being a shooting guard with good passing, and a shooting guard as point guard with good shooting. They both need good outside defense. You can use a little variation, such as perhaps when training passing concentrating it in the PGs, and then when training shooting or outside defense give it to the guards. If you happen to have a good young small forward, you could even use him as a backup trainee.

It is pretty hard to train 3 players at a position in BB, but you can train a 3rd player some. So instead of a 3rd trainee, you might use one of your other young players at another position to take up the extra training.

I'm not sure about what I'd do about the age. Each season, every team gets 3 new draftees (18 and 19). This will happen around August 10th. So every team will be releasing 3 players, either some of their draft picks, or older players that are being displaced by draft picks. During the rest of the season, the only "new" players are players being released by new teams who realize they can't keep 18 players. These are more typically cast offs, particularly older players.

So I might look for a little older, in their 20s and then take another look after the draft when there should be some more young players. It could even be that you'll decide to train your draftees and switch training.
