Sorry but I cant find this info.
Has anyone asked this before?

If a player is in his 30's will he train well or is it never worth doing? At what age is it a waste of time?
thanks

100% a waste of time.

In my own opinion, 23 years old is probably the upper end for really useful training.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

what do you consider really useful?
I mean can a 24 yr old guy pop in several categories?
can a 30 yr old?

I´ve got a pretty good 27 yo player, whom i´m training, as i can not substitute him and for that reasons he´s playing nearly all games.
His emprovement is very slow, he needs a little bit more than 2 times more then my 20 yo players need.

Anyone can theoretically pop, but the achingly slow speed that older guys pop really makes it not worth it to train, and some guys will get so old that their skills will deteriorate more quickly than they can be trained.

to give you a clue: I had a 35yr old that popped in FT after about 8 weeks. ;)
He never popped in any other skill I trained (inside skills), even though he got a lot of training there.
Why did I train him?
I didn't, I needed him to become champ in Div II and later to reach the top in Div I, so I put him on court, and he was in a trainingposition.

At least I now make someone happy with the info this guy gave me.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
